My background is extensive in residential & commercial construction, prior to moving to Costa Rica in 1989. By my mid 20's I was increasingly intrigued by what I was discovering about Costa Rica. After a 2 week investigatory vacation, I was amazed by the country's beauty, The real estate opportunities I discovered were exceptional and promised many years of growth to come. The opportunities still are exceptional so if you think you've missed the boat... You haven't!

Absolutely enchanted by the people, their humility, pride, and their peaceful, friendly, down to earth nature and he discoveries during my trip, that soon after my return home to Orlando, (within 6 weeks)... I was moving to Costa Rica! (Late 1989). At present, I live here full time, am a legal resident since 1994, and am now obtaining citizenship (Dual), and dedicated to the real estate industry in Costa Rica for over 20+ years now.

For any of you considering investing/buying real estate a foreign country, you should consider Costa Rica! Not only is it a great place to invest, it's a great place to live/vacation. The food is great, you can drink the water from the tap, no restrictions on foreign ownership, infrastructure is good to very good, foreigners are able to access both social, private health care both at par in quality or better than in North America. Most certainly... Much less expensive!!! (Eg: Major Heart Surgery - Under US$ 15,000).
